Middle School Physical Education Handbook

• Bring Proper Footwear:  Always wear athletic type shoes during class. You have one "freebie", however if you forget to bring your shoes anytime after that it is a dress code violation.
• Active Participation: All student's are expected to actively participate during every class time.
• Illness Excuses: If a student is to be excused from "active participation", they should have a note from parent's and that is good for three days. After three days, students must have a note from a doctor.
• Tardies/Absences: Late students need to get a "late slip" from the office before coming to class. You will get one tardy warning anytime after moves sequentially down the discipline consequences list.
• Conferences/Progress Reports: Conferences are held in the Fall and Spring. Additional conferences can be made by special arrangement with the teacher. Progress reports are given once per trimester and upon parent request.
• Grades: Will be posted periodically throughout the trimester so that students can know where they are at.
• Missing Work: All students are responsible for missing work. It is their responsibility to ask Mr. Dunn what they missed before. Work will be posted on my calendar and students/parents are responsible for checking the calendar.
