Robin Boatman worked as a first/second grade teacher for four years in Susanville, CA before moving back to her home town to teach second grade at Chico Christian School. She taught here for four years before pursuing her focus of working one-on-one with her students.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree at Chico State University and is trained using the Barton Reading and Spelling Method.  She works with students who have difficulty with math and reading with an emphasis on Dyslexia.  She passionately believes that instilling confidence and a love for learning in children is a key to success in their academics.

Jennifer Vaught -Private On-Campus Tutor

Jennifer specializes in math and tutoring intervention for students that are in need of additional support or want an added challenge. She has a Multiple Subject California Teaching Credential along with a supplemental credential in English.  Jennifer has over eight years of professional experience in tutoring/teaching and has worked with all grades k-8th in an academic setting.  Her passion is to help motivate students and have them learn new skills in a fun, hands-on environment. 

Heather McMahon-Cockrell

Heather McMahon-Cockrell is a California State licensed Speech Language Pathologist who earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the California State University, Chico.  She began her career working in the public schools providing speech and language assessment and therapy for children ages preschool through High School at several school districts in Northern California.   Currently she is part-owner in LINGO Speech Therapy Services, a private practice dedicated to identification and remediation of speech/language and processing disorders.  She has had extensive experience working with individuals with a wide variety of Speech and Language disorders including articulation and phonological delays, language disorders, and autism.  As a mother of two children she values the importance in a child’s ability to be understood.
