From my earliest memory, I have wanted to be an educator. I loved children while still a child myself. I am Bev Landers, the fortunate person to be the principal of Chico Christian School. Every day, I am immersed in those things I am passionate about-learning, loving, and helping children discover how much God loves them, and how unique and special they are!

I am a passionate learner-I read at least two books a week, for professional growth, spiritual growth and for pleasure. My greatest challenge is finding
enough time with the staff to share all that I am learning. I love to learn about how people learn-and what an exciting time it to be an educator-with all the brain research available to us!

My heart's desire for the students at CCS is to see them discover the unique destiny God has for them, and to create a learning environment that addresses all aspects of a child's development: spiritual, cognitive, social and emotional and physical. We honor parents as the child's first and most important teacher, and value the role we play as educators to partner with parents to reinforce the same values and beliefs taught in the home, in the context of learning the disciplines.
