Overview:
The School Site Council (SSC) consists of parent and staff volunteers who work together to improve all aspects of school life. The SSC works to supplement the academic, social and spiritual development of CCS students through various facility and program improvements and community building events. SSC also works closely with staff on special projects, as requested.
In addition, the voting members of the Site Council serve as financial stewards over funds collected for the purpose of improving all aspects of school life. The SSC meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. in the library. Minutes are kept of the meetings documenting all items discussed and any decisions made. Parents are invited to attend and observe meetings, and may submit items for consideration by the SSC using a form available in the school office.
Statement of Purpose:
SSC is a parent-led decision-making organization, which supports the core academic and spiritual goals of Chico Christian School by partnering with staff to enhance academics and build community.
