Homeschool/PSP

The Chico Christian PSP (Private School Satellite Program) is open to families homeschooling children in grades K-8.

Mission Statement:
To provide support to Home School Families by providing quality educational experiences in a flexible, Christ-centered environment.

Overview:
To provide the best possible support, we have several options to select from based on your family's needs.

Full participation in the program includes:

recordkeeping (CUM)
assistance from a credentialed teacher
participation in electives (after school)
some classroom activities (Spanish, computer, PE)
end of year assessment
use of the Butte County Office of Education Instructional Resource Center for media and books to supplement curriculum units

Families must purchase their own curriculum and keep required paperwork. Limited participation in PSP gives families who homeschool independently or through another program opportunity to have their children involved in CCS after school electives. Tuition is based upon level of involvement. Please see fee schedule.

About the Teacher

Jodi George is a credentialed teacher with 25 years experience in both the classroom and working with homeschool families. She is currently homeschooling her four children.
