Chico Christian School Student Council Mission Statement
The CCS Student Council is committed to promoting the school's mission through student leadership.
We will strive to lead the student body while respecting each individual, and supporting the core values of our school community. In school activities, we will work to create student enthusiasm and promote school spirit. Working with students, faculty, staff and administrators, we will represent the student body and be a contributing voice in our school. We will act in a collaborative manner, fostering an even greater sense of unity, and provide opportunities to bring our community together.
Offices:
Our officers are all students enrolled in the middle school. The President must be an 8th grade student. Students who have been a class representative may run for an office, but once they have held an office, they cannot run for another office. They can however, be a representative if elected.
The student council meets with their Advisor and the Principal once a week before school. The officers are elected in the spring for the following school year. Representatives are elected within the first month of school.
2011 - 2012 President
This year, student council will try to accomplish many goals. We plan to continue the great work that last year's student council succeeded with. This coming year, our hope is that we will start to see changes that will impact many and that those changes will help to attract people to our amazing school. Overall, I hope that this school year will be our best year yet!
