Chico Christian School is a K-8 school dedicated to meeting the needs of each child and adolescent. We work together as a community of educators, parents and students to create an optimal learning environment, in which we educate the whole child. We have an intentional plan designed to address the spiritual, academic, physical, social and emotional needs of each student. All of our classroom teachers hold a state credential and are called of God to teach our outstanding students.  Our high standardized test scores mirror our high academic standards.

Our 32-acre facility is pristine, and our four-acre grass field allows students to be very active and involved in our sports programs. Our beautiful campus is fully-fenced, offering safety and comfort to our students while giving peace of mind to our parents. We offer a wide variety of opportunities for students to discover their unique gifts through our elective program. Although the schedule varies from trimester to trimester, here are some examples:  chess, self defense, orienteering, ceramics, Spanish, art, Meet the Masters art program, drama, yearbook, creating a school newspaper, gymnastics, basketball, Creative Thinking, Lego club, reading intervention, worship band, knitting and much more…

Construction has now started on our new gymnasium. It will take our Physical Education classes and After School Sports to the next level. Additionally a new science classroom will be in this building too.  Completion is estimated for Winter 2012/13.

We also offer before and after school care programs. In addition to our full-time teaching staff, we also have three PE teachers, a music teacher, a computer teacher, a librarian, recess supervisors, and a full time chaplain.

Chico Christian Preschool offers great pre-Kindergarten classes for students prior to coming to Chico Christian Elementary.
